In July, 2015 the largest Hispanic organization, the National Council of La Raza, (now known as UnidosUS) brought its national convention to Kansas City, MO. In anticipation of this event, Puente hosted an event, created a booklet, and a forum for clients and prospects to understand how to get more involved with NCLR as well as Hispanic attendees from across the country.

The booklet titled All Things Latino Kansas City was created as a Latino culture education booklet to give attendees a glimpse of the importance of Latinos in communities across America, especially Kansas City. We called it Kansas City Latinos 101, the beginning of a great learning experience.

Puente Hispanic Consulting

– Create a Latino cultural education book for individuals and companies wanting a general working knowledge of the Latino community in Kansas City.
– Created Latino trivia education cards for guests and clients to use to test each other’s knowledge of the Latino community locally and nationally.
– Created an engagement event for Puente to help promote the booklet, the company and its services.
